What makes olive oil special?
A. It’s Virginity. It is called virgin because is one
of the few oils that are edible as it is extracted. It is
extracted by mechanical or centrifugal force and is carried
out in natural temperature conditions which is more hygienic,
and never by chemicals as it is done by most oils that have
to be refined to be able to be consumed.
B Its squalene. What is common between the olive oil users
(not only for consuming because in the Mediterranean olive
oil is not only used as food) in the Mediterranean and the
aboriginals of Australia
They both use squalene the first (Mediterranean consumers)
by using olive oil which has a percentage of 0.5 to 0.8 is
nature physical squalene (that is if olive oil is not fused
with other seed oils) and the Australian aboriginals by extracting
it from the deep sea shark liver.
C. Its Eleovropain. It is indicated mostly by the bitterness
of the oil which is present in the olive oil if the olives
are pressed when they are fresh, immediately after the collection
with low temperature as little water as possible in the extraction
process
It is a physical antibiotic as squalene
D. Its consumption by the human body
E.Its excellent percentage of saturates and polyunsaturates
F. By not buying and not consuming olive oil you lose money
By buying and consuming olive oil you gain money and this
is obvious if you only try to buy squalene and eleovropain
as food additive which are a very small percentage of the
olive oil, less than 1%, you will pay almost the 80% of
the price of the olive oil and these are just some of the
olive oil advantages. Most recent in 2005 it was found in
USA that olive oil can act as a paint killer ,and we believe
more discoveries are coming….
